Harry Potter books
All of these excellent books have been recommended by SHE parents, and children, who have read each of them multiple times. Re-reading the book before seeing the movie significantly enhances ones enjoyment of both. If you know a child aged 8 to 108, any of these would make a perfect gift. They are favorites on par with the Chronicles of Narnia and other classics.
